Around the beginning of 2011, O'Neal Construction purchased the building at 729-735 W. Cross Street in Ypsilanti, across the street from Eastern's campus. The building had previously contained Ted's Campus Drugs and art supply store Art Attack.
With the Kerrytown developer stepping in and paying $530,000 for a Cross Street property, speculation abounds about next steps, primarily focused on the "Starbucks: positive sign or Ypsi jumps the shark?" angle.
