Tantre Farm is a community supported agriculture (CSA) farm located about 9 miles southwest of Chelsea. Richard and Deb, along with their daughter, Ariana, live on-site year round. Seasonal workers or interns join them for various parts of the year, living and working together. Tantre Farm has been a certified organic farm since 1993. The farm is situated on 40-acres of wetland, woods, and sandy-loam fields. The fruit crops include strawberries, raspberries, pears, and melons. They also grow a wide variety of vegetables, herbs and flowers. All produce is certified organic through Ohio Ecological Food and Farm Association (OEFFA).

Tantre Farm produce is available through CSA shares, at various local stores, restaurants, and also at the Ann Arbor Farmers' Market (starting June-November on Wed. & Sat. from 7AM until noon) and Chelsea Farmers' Market (starting May-October on Saturdays from 8 AM until noon). CSA members will receive fresh, organic produce for a 20-week season from June through the middle of October. Distribution is at the Ann Arbor or Chelsea Farmers' Markets for $600 and their farm in Chelsea for $575. Weekly newsletters list produce, recipes, and other farm information. See more detailed information about the CSA program on their website at http://www.tantrefarm.com.
