The Chico Midtown Station (more commonly known as the Downtown Post Office) is a United States Postal Service office located in downtown Chico. The building is a historical place that is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. It was designed in Renaissance Revival style by J.W. Roberts and Oscar Wenderoth, the same architects who designed the Old Municipal Building.1 The side of the building has a mural entitled Pony Express painted on the Broadway side.

It is one of two post offices in town, the other being the Chico Post Office located on Vallombrosa in Central Chico. Be aware that the Downtown location does not accept passport applications, and one must go to the Central Chico office for all passport services.
