Finding a place to live in Mississauga

Mississauga is a pretty easy place to find a place to live. There are all sorts of options to choose from. The city's recent history has seen it grow from a semi-rural community to a metropolitan suburb of Toronto and now a quickly urbanized city in its own right.

Short Term Rental or Hotels

There are a good number of Hotels closer to Pearson International Airport in the north-east end and a few around the Civic Centre / Square One area.

There are about 700 residential buildings in Mississauga. These include Apartment buildings, Co-operatives and Condominiums. Altogether this amounts to approximately 69,000 units with all the buildings types taken into account.

Mississauga was previously referred to as a Bedroom Community for people who made the daily trek to and from Toronto for work or school. Their Bedrooms were here in houses here in Mississuaga, hence the moniker. There is an abundance of new homes and ongoing new home construction providing people many choices.

Condos

The City Centre has existing and numerous new Condomiums in development. The rapid rise of Condominiums has added to the stock of Apartment rental units.
