The north side of the P. Neary Building abuts the Cooper House, and the south side of the building abuts the Palomar Inn. The rear of the P. Neary Building opens to a courtyard that is shared with the McPherson Center, and which connects to Cooper Street through Abbott Square.
On the hitorical plaque, the P. Neary Building is listed as an example of "Richardson Romanesque Revival" architecture.
