I removed the number listed below because it doesn't belong to this person any longer. I called today and someone named Emily answered and she doesn't pet sit.

Besides a heated and air conditioned location, as well as hand picked music, played to create to a mellow experience, the raised kennels ensure a dry and cozy place for our feline friends to nap. To customize each kitty cat's optimum comfort, they meet our guest's personal needs by either arranging privacy kennels for timid kitties, or suite locations for more social visitors. Also, be sure to ask about the Grand Suite, especially designed for toddler guests!
Kitty Camp is happy to provide our own meals and choice litter, or for our most discerning guests they are happy to serve your kitty's own food and litter. Additionally, if necessary, their staff is capable of administering vaccinations and dispensing medication.

2008-01-14 13:48:19 I took my cat, Blue, to Kitty Camp for a two an a half week stay over Christmas and New Years. The facilities were clean, and each cat gets an enclosure with a separate food/water/covered sleeping area and litter area. There was an open play area for the cats to play with the staff of Kitty Camp. Blue was very clean when we picked her up, and seemed to enjoy the stay (as much as is possible for a cat to enjoy boarding). It was a bit of a drive to get to Kitty Camp from Davis, about 15 minutes, but I would board with them again. —JohnCAnderson
2008-09-16 16:34:52 My cats did not love it here, but it was a safe place with kind care takers. The cages were a little small, but they do let them wander around inside and outside the building if you please. I choose to just have them play in a large enclosure when they were not in their cages because I was a little unsure about letting them play with all the other cats. —meister
2009-01-08 17:04:58 Kitty camp is a great place to have your cat taking care of while you are away. I took there my cat, Micia, for 10 days during the holidays and I am very happy with the cares she received. Her enclosure was very clean, the water was changed twice a day, she got her milk in the morning and the treats we provided in addition to the regular food . Most importantly Sheryl, the animal keeper, let her out every day, free to wander around and look out of the window (we had agreed on that), she would brush her, pet her, play with her, and even take pictures for me! You really have the feeling that for Sheryl this is not a job, but rather a passion. When I went to pick her up, Micia seemed to be very relaxed. I would definitively recommend Kitty Camp if you are looking for a boarding place for your cat. —Elda
2009-01-16 14:53:22 I have brought my cat, Khan, here numerous times and he absolutely loves it! The rates are very reasonable and the caretaker makes sure that your cat's needs are taken care of. Khan is on supplements twice daily for arthritis and they accommodate him every time. He seems to like the interaction with other cats and has even seemed reluctant to go back with me on occasion when I arrive to pick him up. It might seem like a bit of a drive to go out to Woodland if you are in the Davis area but I do it and it is definitely worth it. They are also very flexible about when you can pick up/drop off and the duration of stays. I picked up Khan earlier this morning from a week long stay and like usual he was happy and well taken care of. This would be a great place to board your cat especially if your cat is afraid of dogs since it only boards cats whereas vet offices will have dogs around. —ALG
2009-05-15 06:48:38 5/15/09 - I have not boarded my cats at Kitty Camp, but visit it to love on the feral cats that live there and the boarders. Sherry is very caring and makes life for the boarders and residents a fun, loving and caring environment. I would highly recommend it if you need to have your cats cared for. —lks
2009-07-06 11:38:39 The rate has increased to $14 a night per cat. —Nancycat
2009-11-01 13:47:15 I have never brought my cats here, but have heard great things. Unfortunately I just gave them a call to set up boarding while our house is being worked on, and am disappointed to hear that Kitty Camp has closed for business! I was told they just didn't have enough money to keep it going. Best of luck to the owners. —EmilyTho
