The Silver Dollar Saloon is located at the corner of D and 1st Streets in Marysville, next door to the Bok Kai Temple. It is one of the oldest historical landmarks in Marysville. It was built in 1851 and, until 1972, it ran a brothel on its second floor.

In the late 1960s and early 1970s, the Silver Dollar Saloon was known as the Guadalajara Café and owned by Natividad Corona, the half-brother of local serial killer Juan Corona. Juan Corona attacked and mutilated one of his victims in the restroom there. (The victim survived.) There is also "The Juan Corona Salad" on the menu. As a result of this crime and other events in its past, some people allege that the Silver Dollar Saloon is haunted.

The Silver Dollar Saloon advertises in the Territorial Dispatch, among other local media outlets.
