The term Alma Bridge confuses a number of people and traffic announcers.

Alma Bridge Road goes around the east side of Lexington Reservoir and intersects 17, though only on the Northbound side. And there is no bridge where the two meet.

But you will sometimes hear a reference to "Alma Bridge". Usually this means the overpass where Bear Creek Road crosses over (and intersects with) 17. An actual bridge.

Go figure.

The map here indicates where Alma Bridge Road ends at 17, and has a point on the bridge at Bear Creek... that is mistakenly called Alma Bridge by almost everyone.
