The Loma Prieta Community Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) foundation serving the Loma Prieta community in the Santa Cruz Mountains.   It was founded in 1983 as a non-profit foundation to provide the community support to raise the funds for the construction of the Loma Prieta Community Center.  After successfully raising $1,700,000, and completing the building, the foundation focused on many other improvements for the schools and community.  

The focus today is on the community.  LPCF raises money to support local activities and improvements and sponsors and supports many organizations and events in the area.   Programs supported and /or run under the LPCF Banner include:

• Theatre in the Mountains, a program of LPCF
• Building Blocks Preschool, a program of LPCF
• Fall Mountain Soccer League, run by Los Gatos Rec under sponsorship of LPCF
• 95033Free Swap Meet, sponsored by LPCF
