Christine White is Associate Director of The Village Square, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization started in Tallahassee, Florida devoted to civil and factual discourse on matters of local, state and national importance.
Christine White has a Master's Degree in Mass Communications from the University of Florida and has worked with a variety of non-profit organizations within Florida in the areas of communications, fundraising, membership and issues advocacy. She is currently raising her young daughter in Tallahassee while working to create an environment with less hatred, name-calling and nasty politics. What better training for exercising civility and respect for others than being a Gator in Seminole Country (Go Gators!). Christine's past professional experiences in the non-profit world have taught her that you can be a part of making something big happen with limited resources and lots of passion and hard work. The Village Square is the perfect example of this.
Christine also enjoys experimenting with healthy recipes to bring fresh, organic meals to the table, spending time outside in the beautiful Florida sunshine, being a Girl Scout troop leader, and volunteering at her daughter's school. And if there's a get-together with Christine in attendance, you can be sure there will be festive, homemade, and surprisingly healthy desserts to enjoy (there's zucchini in those brownies?!).
