I wasn't born and raised here, but this has been my home since the late 1970's and a locus of my attention since I could wander from my hometown in suburban Detroit. I now even own a burial plot just outside of town. I always say living in Ann Arbor is like living in Disney World, and I mean it. This place is not like the real world I experience when I leave here, but that (of course) is much of Ann Arbor's charm.

I play in the local band the Six Foot Poles.
