CA tenant law stipulates that any deductions made from deposits have to be in good faith, itemized, & submitted within 30 days of the lease ending. Since you opted to end a mo2mo that would be when that date starts. The itemized list must be sent to you in a registered format. They relinquish claim to the FULL DEPOSIT if they don't do the itemization, & all deductions have to be in good faith... ~SD
