2011-10-27 20:57:42   Hey Kelly, welcome to the Wiki! Thanks for contributing.

One major tip I always recommend to new editors is to use the Preview button before saving a page - look over the page that you’re about to create, and don’t save it yet if the page has major gaps in information, or has leftover information from the template, etc.

I look forward to seeing more of your contributions around the wiki. Hit me up (leave a comment on my user page) if you ever have a question about anything. —PeterBoulay

2011-11-02 19:17:33   Kelly—FYI our guidelines are that we usually use pictures on the right side of pages to fill the empty space. I understand you are doing this for a class but that should also include respecting the standards of the Wiki. Thank you very much for your hard work and understanding.—PeterBoulay

2011-11-03 14:07:53   Hey, be careful not to update/overwrite template pages. You added material to the Templates/List page from the senior centers page. The Templates/List page is a template, meaning that it is meant to be a blank list for people to use when creating other pages that are lists. Thanks, —NicholasBarry

2011-11-08 09:40:17   Hey, Kelly, I just reverted a change you made to Ethel MacLeod Hart Senior Center, because you were undoing changes I had already made. We right-orient images to improve a page's readability. You may want to take a look at the style guide. Thanks, —NicholasBarry

2011-11-08 13:13:42   I had NO IDEA of this page of comments. While you have standards, and I am now aware I was not following them, I believe that the readability issue is incorrect. I find much easier to read it my way. But as after today I will not need to even access this page, have it any way you want. —KellyThames

  • Yeah, there are some conventions we follow on the wiki, and right-oriented images is one of them. Since you weren't aware of this page, writing across the top of the Ethel page was the only way to reach you. Also, we commented every time we'd change the images to the right side - you can read the comments associated with an edit by clicking the Info link of any page.
