Thanks for the tip. Saving is a habit of mine. I see what you mean with the changelog. I blew it away with saving the dpl.
Any idea about why we're getting the sql errors. I emailed about them today.
The dpl has many features that I think will be very helpful. Paul 16:44, 26 March 2007 (EDT)
ok, ok, ok
will do. thanks for the heads up!! did paul explain the viget workshop? the idea was to open it up for some controlled content additions. like i would be there to help people sign up for an account and add what they know. for some reason i thought we were all on board with the discussion of this "soft launch." now i feel like a total dick. :-/ sorry!! do you even think we are ready? getting DPL to work chronologically was huge for me. and the icons, obviously. i need to make a few more for user page, unwatch, and special pages. what else do you think we need to do? I ran into a dilemma in creating an index page for the 'projects' namespace. The main reason I didn't use the viget:projects page was that it does not show up in a simple search (in "main" namespace). Paul 23:11, 6 June 2007 (EDT)
More Keeping Up
I could not figure out how to get the sort button on the "Date" column to sort by date and not alphanumeric. Any idea how to do this? Paul 00:30, 25 June 2007 (EDT)
Hi. Is there a way we can change the look of the years in "Established Year" so that it doesn't include commas? Also, could we start a "Closed Year" for things that don't exist anymore? "Birth Year"/"Death Year" for people? Buckshot 11:46, 29 June 2007 (EDT)
"Disestablished Year" -- Brilliant! Thanks for cleaning up my messy entries. Buckshot 13:26, 29 June 2007 (EDT)
movin' right along
it's fine that you moved what i'd been putting on my talk page to the user notes page. as paul can attest to, i'm not very comfortable with this sort of thing- but I'm trying to catch on so I'm fine with clarifications and fixing things.
on your side note, I do have a blog at livejournal.com. my name there is sien, but I generally keep my entries to friends only. so if you have a lj, you'd have to friend me to read it, which would be fine with me.

Hi, I've sent you an email but I'm not sure if it got through. I've just started a city wiki called Hokkaipedia (for Hokkaido, Japan). I'm wondering if I can ask you about your default MediaWiki skin gskin? Best -- Simon 04:36, 4 October 2007 (EDT)
