Carl Whithaus teaches writing at UC Davis. He has written two books (Teaching and Evaluating Writing in the Age of Computers and High-Stakes Testing and Writing Across Distances and Disciplines). When not writing about the impact of IT on literacy practices, Carl can be found watching his kids play soccer, taking them to cello or piano lessons, or digging in the garden.
