I'm an amateur genealogist and descendant of the Granger family who settled on Kangaroo Island in the 1850's. In studying early pioneers of the island Ive learned a lot of it's history. It seems a natural extension of my interest to start a LocalWiki on the Island, hoping to attract contributors through my contacts in the Kangaroo Island Pioneers Association and WikiTree.
