The Elisabeth Halle is a public pool of a very special kind. First opened in 1911 it is a beautiful, small old bath house in the stile of art nouveau. In 2011 the building has been completely and carefully renovated, to restore the original architecture. This is not the kind of place where loud and noisy groups of kids chase each other on the waterslide. In fact, there is no waterslide. The main hall has a 27.5 x 12.5 m pool and a one meter diving board. The true attraction of our Elisabeth Halle is the building itself, the architecture and the atmosphere  - like swimming in a history museum. That said, it is also a good place for swim training, thanks to the ideal location in the very centre of Aachen.
