Elisengarten is a little park behind Elisenbrunnen, a fountain with hot spring water. The water smells like foul eggs, but for some reason the Aacheners built a temple-like shrine for their smelly water.

In the center of the park is a small glass pavillion, in which you can see some old Roman ruins.
