3.Minutes of Previous Meeting July 9th

4.Business Arising

4.1 Letterhead containing email address completed.
4.2 A Frame compliance. Jeff reported that Compliance officer had taken action.  Frames permitted to be on verge, 2 metres space for pedestrian walkway.
4.3 Visitor September 10 meeting Mr Greg Waller. DMBC Head of Development and Planning.  Focus questions from members please, particularly around preservation of Heritage, notification of applications, notification of adjacent properties, familiarise selves with planning documents.  Planning matters are being moved away from local government control to more generic State planning.
4.4 175th Events. Ann reported plans for Back to Hahndorf weekend September1 9 -21 piggy backing on State Band Championships.

*Saturday 20. Sports groups arrange lunch for former members.
*Sunday 21 11.30 am Long Lunch on Academy lawn in marquee. Local food businesses providing family food. Power of the Past on rear lawn.
--- 3.30 if permission granted , a parade along Main St from St Paul's to
Pioneer Gardens. Key to children symbolising Hahndorf Future. HCA membes encouraged to walk/ dress in costume etc.
*October 25th. Tim Costello from World Vision at St Michael's Worship Centre .
*December Christmas tree exhibition.
4.5 Remembrance Day Planning. Invitations sent. PA booked.[$150] Invite Lions to fund this.
Bugler invited. Retain Old National anthem. Guest speaker TBA  Action Ann/Bruce
4.6 AGM September 25th in St Michael's Follow previous successful format.  Guest speakers Brian Schipirra, Jason Duffield, Lucy Moody.  Positive Tourism outcomes in Hahndorf.
4.7 Path to Beerenberg DPTI road Barriers needed prior to any footpath work.  DCMB Norm Keyes consulted.  Path also needed to Cedars. Letter to N Keyes re Council seeking Regional grant to fund both.  Action Ann

4.8 Village Voice Almost ready to go to printer. Wendy reported that this edition is very full.  Readers now seeking space. Distribution crews ready ?
4.9 Institute Honour Board. Eric reported that Institute Chair wishes to consult his committee .

6.1 Financial $ 4176 balance $ $300 T Finnis Wikki expenses $ $104.15 W Williams V V expenses. $ 94 Aspera Images Received $ 200 donation from Cr Bettcher for Nixon Mill project $500 now in Mill project column.  Adverts for Village voice to be Invoiced by Eric.  Moved report be accepted.  Eric 2nd Harold.
6.2 Heritage Preservation Visit from Mr Waller will provide knowledge to seek information on future development applications.  Councillors receive notice of applications.  Query the pop up art on old building at no 100. Action Jeff
6.3 Heavy Vehicles. B doubles discussed. Sub committee Meet in 3 weeks. Rick/Bruce/Phil/Russell  Wombat crossings - slow to complete.
6.4 Council Matters.
i. Footpaths little funding for Hahndorf. Bitumen to Resort, concrete path Church St to Collins St on English St.
ii. Academy glass staircase . If Regional Development Grant successful, money in DCMB budget available to match this.
iii. Hahndorf Band has requested naming rights to new rotunda - L.W.E Kramm Bandstand.HCA will support this move.
iv. Bald Hills run off only city bound Completion 2016
v. Of the enforced land re zoned under the 2010 State Plan, no applications for development has been received.
vi. various concept plans have been developed by Council staff including high rise dwelling in town centre, Gawler St developed as town centre.
6.5 Nixons Mill project proceeding slowly. Monitoring money allocated in budget for this. Action Jim/Eric
