2. Business Arising
a. Council Works
1. Pioneer Memorial Garden upgrade. –turf lawns laid, 3 trees to be planted , safety fence along road side of playground. Swing removed for adjustment Toilets not installed yet.
2. Parking matters/new bus stops. Random survey by 3 Committee members found that parking space is available near surgery/chemist on week days. Disabled parking on Pine Ave a concern due to line of sight. Consensus that the new bus stops are convenient to travellers and persons with a disability. That this is a DTPI decision has not been made clear to the residents.
b. Heritage Issues. Outdoor Dining Policy available as a general template. No 84 has thus far worked within required approval. It will be noted that this committee is not comfortable with the set up as depending on time of day, the footpath is restricted by prams, arm chairs, strawberries in front of building. That other businesses are following suit with footpath furniture. Letter of record to be sent to Jamie Tann DCMB. Action Ann
How HCA can be effective as a monitor. Need to intervene when DCMB receives an application for development in the Heritage area, which is then passed on to State Heritage for recommendation. DAP then considers the application. J Bettcher will advise of C3 applications.Mechanism for intervention to be established. Action J Fowles
c. Tour Down Under Planning Sub committees for sausage sizzle, potato frittas, childrens activities and decorations. Council indemnity, and some cash available.
d. Power line infrastructure Jeff reported that DCMB has objected, citing safety, fire, and loss of property values and requested underground lines. SA Power Network Services not responsive.
e. Barkerwiki Tony has 2 helpers during the change from hahnwikki to barkerwiki A report to circulate with minutes.

1. to/ from Norm Key response to yellow line markings. Standard Universal code. Auricht Rd lower marking to be re examined to allow walkers on verge.
