This German Family Bible has a handwritten name and date on the inside cover, 'Bertha LIEBELT, 1893', making it 130 years of age. It is held in the guardianship of Lorraine KRAMM from Mt Barker. The actual publishing age of the book has not yet been determined. There are 15 historic small photographs embedded in the back of the book, and 8 births recorded under 'Family Records'. There are two swatches of silk threads between the pages. This Bible, having been held by the KRAMM family for decades has become known as the 'KRAMM Bible' however some of the photographs have been identified as being 'LIEBELT' or 'FAEHRMANN' or 'LUBASCH' and the name on the inside cover 'Bertha LIEBELT' [1867-1944] indicates this book would have been passed down from the original owners of the property, LIEBELT & LUBASCH.

1. Author's Note
What appears to be the owner of this 'Family Bible', 'Bertha LIEBELT, 1893', is the 10th & last child of Johann Gottlieb LIEBELT & Johanna Caroline LUBASCH. Two years after Anna Bertha LIEBELT wrote her name on the inside she married Carl Reinhold KRAMM at St Michael's Church, in Hahndorf. Bertha was 28 years & Carl 29 year of age.
