There is an exciting new business in town – Rilka’s Fine food – a cooking school that also bakes a range of food products that are gluten free.  Rilka also caters for private lunches and dinners.

Rilka Wabanoff has returned to South Australia after a successful career in Melbourne as a corporate executive, food writer and radio presenter.  Her acclaimed food segment “Foodie Tuesday” on ABC 774 resulted in her book “Rilka’s Feasts”.  Her passion for food and entertainment are evident in
the energy and creative flair she has shown in restoring the old Antique shop at 91, Main Street next door to Udder Delights.

The shed at the back of the property has been renovated into a wonderful cooking school and entertainment venue together with a small bakery which produces her gluten free products, suitable for celiac and diabetics with no added sugars or chemicals.

Rilka’s cooking accommodates individuals and groups and can be tailored to suit a group with specific needs, for example corporate clients for team building or a group who want to learn to cook gluten free products.  Rilka is committed to using only Adelaide Hills wine and produce where possible.

Her passion for good food and wine as well as her genuine love of people and entertainment is both infectious and heartwarming.  Why not get a group together and talk to her about a cooking session – it would be both entertaining, great fun as well as educational.
