The Boys and Girls Club of Alamance County is a non profit organization whose mission is to "inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us the most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens."  The Boys and Girls Club is an after-school program for children to experience a positive environment, giving them the chance to develop meaningful and productive relationships with adult mentors.  These adult mentors offer encouragement and serve as a positive role model for kids. Children who attend this program come from both traditional and year-round schools. Transportation to the Club is available for 15 local schools.

Youths are inspired to reach their full potential through the Club's Afterschool Program and Summer Camp. The Boys and Girls Club focuses its programs on five core areas, including character and leadership development, education and career development, health and life skills, the arts, and sports, fitness and recreation.

For those interested in getting involved with the Boys and Girls Club, there are opportunities available to interact with the children directly as a volunteer.  In addition, financial donations to support the Club experience are accepted and welcomed. To keep up to date with what's happening, community updates and monthly online newsletters are available on the Club's website and Facebook page, as well as monthly calendars and weekly updates.
