The Fat Frogg is a restaurant and sports bar in Elon, North Carolina located on 512 W. Haggard Avenue. They serve traditional American fare. The menu is fairly typical American bar food, including burgers, wraps, and sandwiches.  Specialties include appetizers like fried pickle chips and frog legs. Vegetarian options include a vegan burger, salads, and lettuce wraps.  They also offer gluten-free options. The menu is reasonably priced, with the average meal costing about $10.  They serve lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. The Fat Frogg can also host special events. 

About the Restaurant

Elon graduate Jeff MacKenzie (daughter JB MacKenzie) and Elon grauate Peter Ustach are the owners of The Fat Frogg. The Fat Frogg is located in the same plaza as Simply Thai in Elon, North Carolina.  There is also an outdoor seating area for good weather.  Games such as billiards and ski ball can be found at the back of the restaurant.

The restaurant has a very college friendly feel: there is a small stage for bands to play on, multiple TVs that show sports games, and free wi-fi.  It is very sports focused, with the flags of the local colleges hanging on the walls.  The restaurant holds many events, from trivia on Tuesday nights to bands on Fridays and Saturdays to fundraisers.
