La Fiesta is a family owned Mexican restaurant located on Church Street about 3 miles from Elon University.  Times News readers have voted La Fiesta the best Mexican Restaurant in Alamance County for nine years in a row.  La Fiesta originally began at a single location in 1993 but has expanded with its success and now has five locations in the Piedmont Triad area.  They strive to give great service at a fair price and serve food that is freshly prepared.  They offer catering for large parties as well as take out.

A dinner or lunch at La Fiesta begins with their famous homemade chips and fresh salsa.  They also have daily message boards at the entrance of the restaurant that shows their daily drink and food specials.  Their menu offers a wide variety of options.  Some appetizers include, empanadas, queso dip, chori dip (a mixture of cheese and chorizo), and shrimp cocktails.  All of the appetizers are available for fewer than 12 dollars.  For dinner, they have many varieties of fajitas, burritos and quesadillas. They also offer house specials such as chimichangas, jambalaya, and crab enchiladas.  All of their dinner options are available for fewer than 15 dollars.  They also have soups, salads, vegetarian options, lunch specials and a full bar.

La Fiesta has very prompt service and reasonable prices.  The food is great, especially when starting the meal with their famous chips and salsa.  When talking to customers of La Fiesta, some of their favorite dishes are the fajitas, jumbo flavored margaritas, and carnitas.  The restaurant is moderately decorated.  It has a classic Mexican feel.  The décor is average but the delicious food, great service and reasonable price make up for it, definitely a spot to try out!
