LabCorp is a clinical laboratory network that is based in Burlington. Having only been founded in 1978, it has already become one of the largest clinical lab networks in the world, with 36 primary labs in the U.S. alone.
The most common reasons to visit LabCorp are for initial employee evaluations, such as blood tests and drug screenings. Some of their locations also offer oncology testing and HIV genotyping and phenotyping, as well as general pediatric visits.
Despite becoming a nationwide firm, LabCorp has remained committed to its local community, having supplied the blooming Elon Academy with an endowment to provide permanent funding for the school.
