Pandora’s Pies is a restaurant located on Elon University’s campus. The restaurant is owned by the co-owners of the Fat Frogg, a bar and grill also located in the town of Elon. The tables in the restaurant are made out of the doors from old residence halls that used to be on Elon’s campus, creating a unique cultural feel. The establishment opened in the past few years, opening officially on February 7, 2012 and serves pizza and other creations made from locally made cheese, meats, and stone ground wheat. The menu offers many original pizzas, such as the “Simply Thai Chicken Pie” and the “Vegan Pie” as well as sandwiches, salads, and calzones. Their pizza’s come in three sizes, personal, 14” , and 18”. They also serve pizza by the slice. The style of the food is an interesting mix of Southern-style and Italian with a touch of Greek influence. One of the best things about Pandora’s is that not only do they have a great selection of hand made specialty pizza’s, they also have a make your own feature which allows you to pick from 9 sauces, 36 toppings, and even 7 drizzles to top it off. Pandora’s rotated about 9 North Carolina beers a month and offer 1$ draughts at the end of every month. Pandora's Pies is also well known for sourcing of the vast majority of their ingredients from local farms in both Alamance County and the greater Research Triangle Park area, as well as a number of farms from the Piedmont Triad. For example, Pandora's sources the majority of their meat products from Piemonte Farms, a local 23 acre farm which operates in the greater Greensboro area, while sourcing dairy products from the Goat Lady Dairy farm also located outside of Greensboro.
