West End Terrace, previously known as West End Bar, is one of Elon's happening restaurants and bars. Located on 138 W Lebanon Avenue, West End Terrace is one of Elon's few bars. The bar is located in close proximity to Elon University, making it a popular sport amongst the university's students. Besides Wednesday and Thursday, the atmosphere is very relaxed with patrons enjoying beers from a great selection. When Wednesday and Thursday come along the pace picks up; West end then holds its “one-of-a-kind night club experience” which is catered toward the Elon students. On these nights only those who are above the age of eighteen can enter, and only those above twenty-one can drink. On Wednesday and Thursday nights, West End becomes your typical college bar.

West End Bar was purchased in 2013 by Harold Hill, a former cook at The Root, who revamped the bar and changed the name to West End Terrace. He has transformed the restaurant and bar by adding a relaxing outdoor terrace and reworking the interior design to give it a more chic, contemporary feeling. Hill has hired Chef Anthony Hutson to create a new menu featuring various delicious appetizers, healthy salads, tacos, sandwiches, flatbreads, and mouth watering paninis. He has also created a simplistic, yummy kids menu for children 10 years or younger. Along with food, West End's drink menu is extensive including more than 21 craft beers on tape, various types of wine, and original mixed drinks. One of the best parts of West End is the late night music. The bar brings in live music and popular DJ's which play on the new stage with an amazing technological backdrop.
