KIG83 is a National Weather Service weather radio station broadcasting weather and all hazards information on 162.550 MHz from a transmitter located in Herron, about 15 minutes west and south of Alpena.

The transmitter provides forecasts from the Gaylord NWS office, and will send alert tones to the following counties:
