The Ann Arbor Transportation Authority runs an express commuter bus service from Chelsea to Ann Arbor, with two trips daily from Chelsea to Ann Arbor and two return commute trips from Ann Arbor to Chelsea.
The bus stops at the Arctic Coliseum in Chelsea, just off Old Manchester Road near the Chelsea Lumber Company. There is designated free parking for commuters to use at the Arctic Coliseum, and the coffee shop is open in the mornings for early riders.
Although the bus service runs to/from Chelsea, there are daily riders from Manchester, Grass Lake, and as far away as Jackson, Michigan.

Ann Arbor Transportation Authority board meeting (March 24, 2010): The transportation news out of this month’s AATA board meeting was that the twice-daily Chelsea-Ann Arbor express bus service will continue, despite low ridership. It will be moved in-house using AATA buses. The $125 monthly fare will be reduced to $99. Up to now, the pilot program has been operated by Indian Trails.Template:Chelsea
