Albert H. Pattengill (1842-1906) was a professor of Greek at the University of Michigan and principal of the Ann Arbor High School in 1868-1869.
He served as chairman of the Board in Control of Intercollegiate Athletics at the University of Michigan, joining it at its inception in 1894 in response to concerns of the higher ideals of intercollegiate sport and "athletic cleanness".
