Ann Arbor Terminals was founded in 1970 by two ex-Sycor employees, Edward F. Zimmer and Michael R. Levine. It manufactured a line of computer terminals, including the Ann Arbor Ambassador, "an advanced, user-configurable, full-featured, ANSI-standard terminal" which featured a 15 inch screen which would display up to 60 lines of text.
