We are Ann Arbor's only 100% volunteer thrift store. The Ann Arbor Thrift Shop (A2TS) has been selling high quality, gently used clothing for the whole family, accessories, housewares and books since 1932. Each year the proceeds are returned to the local community in the form of assistance grants to local nonprofit organizations (Shelter Association, St. Andrew's Breakfast Program and Peace Neighborhood Center to name a few) and individuals referred through registered social service caseworkers. A2TS funds typically help families stay in their homes, keep the utilities connected, pay serious medical expenses, cover transportation costs to keep individuals employees and more! In our 2012-2013 fiscal year more than $250,000 was donated to assist families in their time of need.
Please look at our website for the items we accept. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, all donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.
