*This afternoon the Sheriff Office confirmed a sighting of a Black Bear. This was in Webster Twp in the area of Mast and Huron River Drive. There will be more information to follow. Take care to secure all of your trash to not attract the bear. The bears are native to Michigan and are a protected animal for this area of Michigan. The hunting of these animals are illegal in this area. Do not attempt to capture the bear*.
