Bert's Cafe is on the first floor of the UGLI. They serve the usual coffee drinks (lattes, mochas, cappucinos) along with their signature specialty drinks (Michigan Mocha and Cramming Caramel are two popular options). All of their coffee is fair trade. They also serve a variety of baked goods, including cookies and brownies from Great Harvest Bread Company, croissants, bagels, muffins, and danishes. For meal options, Bert's Cafe provides a number of sandwiches, burritos from Burrito Joint, and meals from Jamaican Jerk Pit. Come stop by to get some coffee or food and relax, study, or hang out.
Check Bert's Cafe's web site for hours; during parts of the academic year, they are sometimes open 24 hours a day.
The cafe is named after alumnus Bertram Askwith (LSA '31), who also funded the Askwith Media Library
