This great Tom T. Hall song is what helped to inspire the name for the Saturday morning show on Ann Arbor's WCBN, 88.3 FM called Bill Monroe for Breakfast. The show airs from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon every Saturday. The show's hosts, Jim Manheim, who also goes by the handle, "Tex," and "Longhandle Bob" Strauch switch off ever other week. They cover the entire gamut of bluegrass from Bill Monroe to Nickel Creek.
