The Biomedical Science Research Building (BSRB) is at the corner of Huron and Glen. It is part of the University of Michigan Medical Campus, and was completed in February 2006. The BSRB houses research labs from several Medical School departments, including Cell and Developmental Biology, Internal Medicine, Molecular and Integrative Physiology, Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Pathology.
In 2007, the BSRB was a recipient of an AIA Honor Award from the American Institute of Architects (press release). The 300-seat Kahn Auditorium on the Huron/Washtenaw side of the building has been nicknamed "The Pringle" due to its potato chip-like shape.
The BSRB is accessible on foot via a pedestrian bridge over Washtenaw Avenue, which connects it with Palmer Commons, Undergraduate Science Building, and the U of M Central Campus.
