Bonisteel Boulevard provides the main entrance to the University of Michigan's North Campus, with the curve up from Fuller emphasizing the Garden City aspirations of the campus before the un-picturesque Pierpont Commons comes into view.
Bonisteel previously featured two lanes in each direction for its entire length; with the main North Campus parking lot behind Pierpont largely closed for construction of the Arthur Miller Theater, on-street parking was added to Bonisteel, taking advantage of formerly un-used capacity.
