Bonnie Bona is a project manager with the nonprofit Clean Energy Coalition in Ann Arbor, a position she's held since March 2010. She also is a long-time member of the Ann Arbor planning commission.

Her first term on the planning commission began on Jan. 10, 2005, to fill an opening left by the resignation of Laurie Elbing. The appointment was made by the Ann Arbor city council in December 2004. Bona's current term runs through June 30, 2016. She is a past chair of that group, an advocate for design that supports sustainability and pedestrian/cycling access, and in general is a supporter of non-motorized and public transportation.
Bona is an architect, and previously worked at Bona & Kolb Architects & Designers of Dexter, Michigan. She also was an owner/manager of the Chris Triola store from 1993-2002. She was a project manager with Frederick H. Herrmann Associates Inc. from 1986-1993.
In addition to her professional work, Bona has served as chair of the University of Michigan Museum of Art Friends board.
Bona received her undergraduate degree in architectural studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She has a masters degree in architecture from the University of Michigan. She is a registered architect, member of the American Institute of Architects, and LEED-accredited professional.
Bona is married to architect David Bona. The couple lives in Ann Arbor's Water Hill neighborhood.
