Washtenaw County prosecutors dropped the trespassing complaint against Caleb Poirier after reviewing the case presented by the Michigan State Police at a preliminary hearing in Washtenaw County District Court last week, records show. Poirier, 33, was arrested twice in September by troopers who were enforcing state law while assisting the Michigan Department of Transportation. He is the head of a tent community of homeless people called Camp Take Notice that was living near the park and ride lot off of Ann Arbor-Saline Road near the I-94 interchange.
