Family Matters is a free, six-session education, skill-building and support group for family members, loved ones and friends of people with alcohol and other drug addiction (including family/friends of people struggling with addiction, in treatment, or in recovery from addiction, and people who are concerned about another person’s substance use.)  Topics repeat every six weeks and include, “Addiction 101,” “Treatment and Twelve Steps,” “Relapse and Recovery,” “Communication,” “Family dynamics,” and “Boundaries.” People can join the group at any phase in the cycle. The group provides an opportunity to learn about addiction and family dynamics, and share your experiences with others who understand. You are not alone!

Location: Zion Lutheran Church, 1501 West Liberty Street, Ann Arbor Michigan 48103. Second floor, in “Creation Station” room.
