Ezra L. Rowry (December 29, 1929 - May 22, 2008) was an Ann Arbor activist for equal rights and urban development. He grew up in the Mississippi delta and moved to Ann Arbor in 1958.  He worked for the University of Michigan as an animal technician and a bus driver.  Rowry served on the national board of the Congress of Racial Equality, represented the poor on the Washtenaw County Legal Aid Board and was an organizer of the Ann Arbor Emergency Food Program. He played an integral role in securing Ann Arbor for the Model City’s Dental project in the mid 70s and early 80s.

His brother, Roosevelt Rowry, runs Rosey's Barber Shop.

Ezra was a frequent caller to the Ted Heusel radio talk show on WAAM.
