Friedrich Schmid (b. September 6, 1807 - d. August 30, 1883) was a pioneer German missionary who came to Ann Arbor in 1833 to serve a group of families from Wuertenmberg.

Schmid is buried in Forest Hill Cemetery in Ann Arbor.
