Pulling into the parking lot of Grace Ann Arbor, you’ll see no historic structure, no magnetic sign telling passersby that God’s last name isn’t “Damn,” no armada of pale-hued Lincoln Continentals. Instead, you’ll see a one-story, two-toned, paneled facade with a single row of parking spaces. In other words, you’ll see a strip mall.
Pastor Sung Kim conducts a Sunday service at Grace Ann Arbor Church. Grace Ann Arbor, which caters to young professionals, is the rebirth of University Reformed Church, which closed its doors and sold its building a year ago.
