The Historic East Side Neighborhood Association , started in 1973, is Ypsilanti's oldest neighborhood association.
HESNA serves the adjoining neighborhood area just east of Depot Town, from the corner of East Forest Avenue and Prospect on the north east, then west on Forest to Norris, then south on Norris to the north right-of-way line of the railroad, then southeasterly along the right-of-way to Grove Road, then north on Grove to East Cross Street, then east on Cross to Prospect, then north on Prospect back to Forest.
