House of Sofas started the new year with a going-out-of-business sale as the family owned retailer west of Ann Arbor starts to wind down its operations. The business - located at 5301 Jackson, just east of Zeeb in Scio Township - will remain open only long enough to sell off inventory, said Ceia Murphy, daughter of the store’s co-founders.
