Jason's was opened as an ice cream parlor by Joan French, wife of Ann Arbor entrepreneur Bennett French. "Jason" was for Joan and Sons. Joan ran it for several years and most of her sons worked at it. Then the space (originally an art store) became Mr. Greek's.

Everything is a little expensive, but the quaint atmosphere with fine service makes eating enjoyable.
