M-17 is a 6.4 mile long state highway, connecting the cities of Ypsilanti and Ann Arbor. It begins at exit 37 along US Highway 23 (US 23) on the Ann Arbor – Pittsfield Township border, and runs through downtown Ypsilanti to its eastern end in Ypsilanti Township at a junction with US-12.
