Paula's Place WAS a coffee and donut store, soup and sandwich shop, and ice cream shop at 2111 Packard. It's final day of business was Febraury 26, 2010. Later that day some loyal customers threw Paula a party. It was Paula's favorite moment of nearly six years trying to make a go of it. Walt Garff, AKA "Mr. Paula"

The donuts sold at Paula's are still available from Dexter Bakery 734-747-7036.

Paula won Current Magazine's 2006 awards for Best Soups and Best New Business.
