Poet's Alley is an alley between Liberty Street and Washington Street, to the west of the Michigan Theater. It is noted for its colorful street art and for the vast quantities of chewing gum affixed to its walls by theater patrons.
It is also known as Graffiti Alley or Tripper's Alley.
From time to time individuals perform on the Liberty Street side of the alley, including Brian Woolridge, "the Michael Jackson guy".
